Launcelot’s retail portfolio comprises 17 retail units. Eight of these units are located along The Cut. The Cut is a distinct retail parade located near the Old Vic Theatre. The bulk of these retail units were acquired at the turn of the century. During the pandemic Launcelot took advantage of the turbulence in the retail market to purchase sites in Exeter, Winchester and Guildford.

The Cut

The Cut Estate is a parade of buildings comprising numerous shops, offices as well as long leasehold and rented flats. The Cut benefits from being the home to both the Old and the Young Vic Theatres with Waterloo Station within close walking distance.

These local amenities coupled with excellent public transport links have created a bustling and vibrant area with high levels of footfall concentrated on The Cut. Over our years of ownership we have overseen a shift away from traditional retail towards a mixture of restaurants, some traditional retail, commercial office space and residential.

In London we also own retail holdings in Fulham and Westbourne Grove.
